Since 2011, Mackean Law Firm has played a major role in the East Port Said Logistics Park. Mackean, among other members of a private committee especially composed to earnestly advocate the project. They intensely strived in calling for the necessity of a rapid completion of the project. The project, as a public utility, required extensive efforts, research, writing reports and lectures. Above all it needed a special statute that should, when promulgated, appropriate with the special nature of the project as a public utility and equally appropriate its nature as a logistics park associated to a huge maritime hub. Mackean Law Firm managed to phrase the said bill. The bill was ultimately indirectly surrendered to the competent authority.
